Jessica Dubois

At the age of 17 I knew that becoming an Interior Designer was my future. Endicott College was my next step in order to achieve this and this proved to be the perfect fit for my interests and skills. After four years of taking design classes as well as completing three internships, I have expanded my knowledge in more ways than I expected.

After studying residential design, retail design as well as hospitality, corporate office and healthcare design, I have found myself to really enjoy all of it. However, my favorites so far has been healthcare and corporate office. My second internship, which was completed at Gawron Turgeon Architects in Scarborough, ME, was primarily based around senior living and memory care with a few other commercial projects mixed in. Healthcare has stuck out to me due to the effects it has on the users as well as the use of theories in each design choice. My third internship, which was completed at SGA in Boston, I focused a lot more on corporate office and grew to enjoy this sector due to the ability to be very creative and work with a variety of brands and clients.

I am eager to continue expanding my knowledge within this field as well as to push myself to become LEED and NCIQD certified over the next few years.
